is there a regular taxi or bus shuttle from JFK to Newark (EWR)

Yes, there is a bus called State Shuttle(http://stateshuttle.com/).
It comes every hour, it costs $30 per person. You can reserve it at Ground Transportation counter(Welcome Center)in each terminal. If the party going to Newark is 3 or 4 people it is more efficient to take a yellow cab. It will be on the meter(around $90-$100) for the whole cab.

Please,
can you suggest me the best way to join my hotel in 30 e 30 s from JKF!
Thankyou in advance,
Bigenger

Hi Bigenger,
Here are some of the ways to get to the hotel - you decide which one is the best for you:
1.Taxi will cost you flat fare of $45+toll($5.50)for the whole taxi.(~35-45 min)
2.There is shuttle(look for it at Ground transportation counter or Welcome Center) that goes to any hotel in Manhattan for $18.50 per person.(~50min-1:15min)
3.Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Take subway E to Lexington Ave stop.At Lexington Ave stop transfer to subway line 6 going downtown to 28th street stop.It will cost you $7.25 per person.(~1:15min-1:30min)
The hotel is located two blocks walking distance at 30th street, between Park Ave and Madison Ave.

I will be arriving into JFK on June 4th at 7:40pm from Ireland.
The only flight we could find to our home that night in Pittsburgh leaves at 8:30pm with delta, is that enough time??? That's only 50mins. Thanks!!!!

The time is not enough - you have to clear customs and transfer terminals which will take roughly 50 min. Delta will close their flight by that time.

Can anyone tell me how to get in contact with the human resource dept for JFk because I want to give an employee an accommodation. I mean she was really awesome!!!

Let us have more details about the employee - what company she was working for or what kind of position she has. JFK Airport does not have general HR department. Each separate company at JFK has their own HR department.

Hi I'm getting off a cruise on 25th April in Bayonne NJ. How do I get to JFK please? There are two of us with cases.

Given the fact that you have the suitcases probably the public transportation is not the best way.
Taxi or private service will be your next best option.
As per http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/ :
"That cab ride would cost about $70.10. That is roughly $81 with a 15% tip. It is about 32.0 miles."
Let us know if you consider public so we will tell you the best way.

Hi Thanks for reply. I think I have to consider public to keep cost down! Would be grateful for any info.

Here it is:
1. At E.34TH ST. LIGHT RAIL STOP take Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward HOBOKEN/TONNELLE.
2. At EXCHANGE PLACE PATH STATION take Train/Subway toward Path Hoboken-WTC.
3. At WTC take subway E to Jamaica Station
4. At Jamaica Stationa take ANY Airtrain to the terminals at JFK.
The whole trip will cost you around $10.

Many thanks for all your help.

I am flying in from London on route to Guatemala. My layover time is 2 hours and my luggage is going straight through to Guatemala so I don't need to leave the airport or go through customs in NY. Do I still require a transit visa?

you have to go thru Immigration first, wait for your luggage, then go thru customs, rush to check in luggage again and go to the gate. Hope you fly from the same terminal. Otherwise 2 hours is very close.
