We arrive with Icelandair on april 15th on 07:00 PM. We have flight with American Airlines at 10:00 PM in another terminal. We travel only with on-board luggage. Could you please direct us through the right terminals?

Once you clear customs at T7, exit the terminal, go across the street and upstairs to the Airtrain platform. There take ANY train on track 1. Next stop would be American Airlines terminal 8. The ride is only a minute and it is free. There, go down to the second floor, cross over through the connector and go up to the third floor - that is where AA departure level is.

International connections
We are booked to arrive on August 5 at Terminal 4 from Israel at 20.40 hours. We have exactly 2 hours till our next flight on Cathay Pacific to Vancouver leaving from Terminal 7. Will we have enough time? Especially considering the plane could always arrive a little late.
Specifically, if we are arriving on an international flight and immediately flying out on another international flight do we still have to go through US customs/immigration and retrieve/recheck our luggage?
I would appreciate an immediate response as I have to final confirm our reservation tomorrow.

Two hours is just enough time to transfer( hope that the plain from Israel is not late more than 30min). Since you are arriving international you have to go through immigration, pick up your bags and pass US customs.
At T7 you will go through security check before boarding the plane to Vancouver.

transportation from JFK to Weehawken
Hello, we are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids 16,13,9)and we will be arriving at JFK this sunday at 4pm. We will have to go to our hotel in Weehawken (harbor boulevard, next to the ferry to Manhattan). Could you please advise 1-the approx cost of a taxi (and can we get the 5 of us in a taxi)? 2- the best way by public transportation and the corresponding cost ? Thank you very much !

Since the kids are big I doubt it if a yellow cab will take 5 passengers but you can ask the taxi dispatcher.
There are private cars that you can reserve on the spot(dial 31 or 34 on self-service ground transportation phones)and they will give you an estimate over the phone for that ride.
As per http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/:
"That cab ride would cost about $48.70. That is roughly $56 with a 15% tip. It is about 20.7 miles." The fare is estimate.
By public:
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to 42nd street stop. At Port Authority Bus Terminal take NJ Transit bus number 158 to Lincoln Harbor.Cost - $9.80/person.

Lan and Taca proximity
Hi,
My daughter is flying LAN xl539 to Ecuador at 10:50 on 15 April, and I am flying Taca 571 to el Salvador at 10:35 on 15 April.
Will we be able to go through security together? Are the departure gates nearby to eachother?

Both airlines are flying out of the same terminal but we don't know which gates.
Look at the gate numbers on your boarding pass : if they start with the same letter(A or B) then ,yes you will be able to go through the same security checkpoint together.

Hello, thank you for your fast response. In reference to my last question , I want to know:
-If I arrive by Mexicana in terminal 8 at 14:30 and I have a connecting flight in terminal 5 in Jet Blue at 16:30, after I exit customs do I have to transfer my suitcases at Connecting flights counter or I can take my suitcases to termiinal 5 and make check in at Jet Blue and register my suitcases at their counter. Which one would be the fastest option?

I will be flying into JFK
I will be flying into JFK from Rome on Alitalia on Sunday, May 2. I have a connecting flight to Atlanta on Delta. I arrive at 2:00 PM and depart at 4:40 PM. What is the average time for picking up your checked luggage and going thru customs? Where do I get on Airtrain to go to Terminal 3 to board my flight to Atlanta?

The average time is 20-40 minutes. Airtrain station at T1 is located on the third floor. Take ANY train on track 1 and next stop is T3.

INFORMATION REQUIREMENT
1.On April 17, I arrive to New York JFK at 14:30 on terminal 8 by Mexicana Airline.
2.I have a connecting flight at 16:30 with JetBlue in terminal 5 to Boston,Ma.
-Do I have enough time to catch my flight?
-How do I get from terminal 8 to terminal 5?
-Do I have to pick up my suitcases and then check in again in JetBlue?
-Your terminal's map show that terminal 5 is temporaly close. Is it really closed? Then, in what terminal am I supposse to catch my flight in Jet Blue?
