re: transportation of your snake

As far as I know you are only allowed to take a cat or a small dog on board. They should not exceed some certain weight. and there are restrictions on certain breed. Since you are carrying a snake I believe they might not accept it on board. You also needed to get some certain papers for your animal. You should have checked with the American Embassy in Italy. Have a safe trip

security-question

I have a question. I want to go to the airport with a superman costume (suit) to collect my girlfriend from there. It should be a suprise (we come from germany and she doesen't know, that I will fly too ... but I am earlier there than her).

Here in Germany they think, that there are many security advices so I wanted to ask, if it is allowed to come into the airport as superman.

(by the Way: is New York safty enougth that someone can go with the suit through the city without trouble???)

Please contact me ... (here on the board)

greetings Supie

You should be able to take more baby formula through, it is one of the exceptions to the rule. Just to be sure, I would take some powdered formula because you can always buy water inside security.

superman

1. It shouldn't be any problem to wear a superman costume through security--if anything it will be better for the security people, because you cant hide anything in one of those superman suits :). If I were you I would carry the costume in your bag for the trip - then change into your superman suit in the bathroom in the airport. Just to be comfortable.

2. Believe me, superman is not even weird for New York. A few days ago I saw a guy with full armour on the subway. New York encourages these kinds of freedoms.

3. And yes it is absolutely safe in most of the city.

traveling with baby

I'm traveling with a 10-month old for the first time. My main concern is in regards to his formula and medication. I understand there is a limit to how much liquid you can bring, I think its 100 ml that you can bring. However, that's not enough formula for my child. Is there an exception to the rule when it comes to baby's feeding? And also, will his medication count towards the 100ml rule? Please help!
