Ask your airline at check-in
Ask your airline at check-in in Buffalo. If you are flying the same airline on both legs or the airlines have baggage agreements then yes, bags will be checked all the way through to Dublin.
connecting
We are arriving at terminal 4 at 5:30 am and need to meet friends who are arriving same day at 5:45 terminal 8. What would be the easiest way to meet them and get a taxi van into manhatten?
Determine whether you will
Determine whether you will meet at T4 or T8. A good place to meet it at baggage claim or international arrivals in either terminal. Take AirTrain between terminals.
Transport To Midtown 26th street hotel near penn station
Need to know best way of getting to Hotel Midtown 26th Street West. Near Penn station.

I will need a wheelchair to transfer from terminal 3 to terminal 4. How do I arrange for that?
I'm traveling by delta connecton to JFK, arriving at 9:30 PM, Monday April 4 and connecting to Avianca at 12:55AM April 5
Your advice is appreciated
You will need to arrange
You will need to arrange this with Delta so they have a wheelchair waiting for your on arrival at T3.
Which track do I take to get from Terminal 4 to 5
What level for the airtrain and which track do I take to get from Terminal 4 to 5? Is there somewhere to eat when you go through gate for Jetblue flight?
Thanks for the info
Go to the third floor of T4
Go to the third floor of T4 to AirTrain and take train on track 1 one stop to T5. There's food available post-security.
Location of the Air train stations
Hi. I need to know whether the stations for the "Airline Terminal route" are inside the secured area or in the public area. Thanks
They are in the public area.
They are in the public area. They are the same stations used by Howard Beach and Jamaic trains.
How to get from Terminal 4 to Terminal 5?
Arriving with Aerlingus into Terminal 4 at 13.15. Flight Departing with Jetblue from Terminal 5 at 16.05. How do I get from 4 to 5? How long will it take. If its by train is it free between terminals or do I need a ticket? Believe I will need to check in again and go through customs how long will this take?
Many Thanks for your help.
D Martin
You will clear customs on
You will clear customs on arrival (unless you depart from Shannon, you will clear US customs there). Take AirTrain (free) one stop from T4 to T5. You will check-in and clear security there. Allow one hour to clear customs and enough time to clear security at Jet Blue, travel time on AirTrain is less than one minute.
How long to collect luggage?
I am traveling in from the West Coast on Delta Airlines on Monday the 25th of April, arriving into JFK at 5:44 AM. I will be traveling to Penn Station to catch the Northbound Amtrak Adirondack which leaves at 8:15 AM and desire to take the AirTrain/LIRR route.
I am curious to know how long it generally takes for you to collect your baggage and walk to the nearest AirTrain station for Jamaica Station? Also, how does one get to the AirTrain station from the baggage carousels for a Delta flight? I think I have enough time to make the journey from JFK to Penn for my train, but I am still a little nervous!
After you collect your bags
After you collect your bags follow the signs to AirTrain, take Jamaica Station train on track 1. There should be elevator access just across the street from ground transportation. Definitely take LIRR, much faster to Penn Station than subway. You will pay peak fare ($8.50) but it's worth it. It's 15 minutes on AirTrain to Jamaica and 20 minutes on LIRR to Penn Station. Walk upstairs to the Amtrak concourse and wait for the boarding announcment and track #. I can usually make it from terminal to Penn Station in less than one hour. Not sure how far north you're going but if you've never taken the Adirondack you must sit on the left side for the best river views!!
