Hi. I'm arriving in T3 with DL0073 from Istanbul, and departing from T3 with DL6547 to RDU. I would like to learn about the sequence:
1. I claim my baggage
2. Go thru customs/immigration - is it in T3?
3. Re-check in my baggage
4. Go to gate for DL6547

Will I be doing all of this at T3 or do I need to go some where else for customs/immigration? If so, do I re-check in my baggage at the terminal that I go thru customs/immigration, or carry them back to T3? Thanks..

Here is the sequence:
1. Go through immigration
2. Claim the luggage
3. Go through US customs
4. Re-check the bags at connecting flights counter for Delta
5. Clear security
6. Go upstairs and look for the gate for DL6547

Everything that takes place at T3.

We´re landing with Icelandair at Terminal 7, time 7:00 pm and have to get to JetBlue flight for Orlando at 9:36 pm. Is that enough time and how much does it cost to get from one terminal to JetBlue’s terminal.

Regards Bjössi.

You have enough time. If you get the Airtrain between the terminals ,there is no cost.

I'm arriving just after midnight, June 16 at Terminal 8 on an AA flight. My next flight, also on AA and I think from T8 is at 5:45a.m. Can I wait at Terminal 8 overnight, or is there an all night restaurant at JFK I could go to. Really don't want to get a hotel for such a short time. Thank you.

You can stay at T8 or you can go to T4(via Airtrain) which is 24 hours open(even no restaurants are open at that time). There is a place called "Au Bon Pain" at T4 which is open 24 hours.

Hi, I arrive at 7:50PM in JKF International Airport on flight AA 1080 from Providenciales Turks & Caicos on 28th May. Which Terminal does this flight arrive at and where is the nearest Baggage Storage? I then do not continue my flight onto Manchester International Uk until May 29th at 7:15PM on Flight AA 210 Can you tell me which terminal I will be flying from? Appreciate your help. Also is there any lounge that you can pay a daily rate to enter. (I have to be out of the hotel by 12:00 mid-day)

You will be arriving at Terminal 8. There is baggage storage on the first floor by the domestic baggage claim.
Your outbound flight is also out of T8.

My parents are coming to US next month. They are flying for the first time, and they don't know english. I wish to go to the gates to pick them and to assist them. What is the legal procedure to follow in such situations? How to get a Gate pass?

There is no way to get a gate pass to meet international passengers. Don't worry - they will get the assistance to go through immigration/customs procedures.

Hi, my mom is travelling to JFK on May 28th from Mexico City, she will get to terminal 8 at 16:25...then she has a connection to Dublin with Aer Lingus but on terminal 4 later that night at 21:50...she's not an american citizen...I would like to know if is easy to get from terminal 8 to terminal 4 and how long will il take ( passport control..ecc)...thanks!
could you tell me how to get from T8 to T4? thanks!

There is Airtrain station on the second floor of T8. Let her take the train on track 2 to Terminal 4 . Terminal 4 is the third stop. It takes only 5 minutes.
The formalities in customs/immigration(she will pass that at T8) take 30-40 minutes.

I'm flying from Italy to JFK airport on friday 28th may. My flight - I'm travelling with Delta Air Lines - will land in JFK at 5:15 pm.

I wonder what is the best way to get to our home in 189 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, USA by public transport.

Could you also tell me how long lasts the "journey" from the airport to the apartment?

Thank you very much for your assistance.
Stefano

By public transportation will take about 45 minutes; take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica station and transfer to LIRR to Atlantic Ave. Transfer to the D, M (rush hour only) N or R subway, get off at Union St./4th Ave., walk two blocks to 6th Ave. and turn left. Taxi will cost about $40 and take 30-45 minutes depending on Friday evening traffic.

i will be travelling to jfk and buying items such as sunglasses and a Wii. will i get a tax refund from the airport when i am leaving the country as i am not american?
